CITE offers free books (non-refundable) of each subject to students.

The CITE Library consists of a Central Library which support the teaching, research and extension programmers of the College. All students, faculty members of the College are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science, management and humanities offers library services. Initially setup in 2000 AD, the Library now moved to its new independent floor in BLOCK D in FEB, 2012.

Library serves as a resource center and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of document’s useful for faculty and students of the college and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge.

Library aims to be best among engineering and Management college libraries in the country. Library intends to incorporate the latest technology and adopt user friendly approach towards students and faculty. Library intends to offer comprehensive services related to dissemination of knowledge.

Short term goals
To serve the academic needs of all students and faculty members. As a center for collection of books and Journals of all related subjects to develop a comprehensive collection of information required for teaching and reference purpose. To acquire, organize Information resources to meet the present and future needs of its users.

Long term goal
Developing a consortium of all Engineering and management college libraries with resource sharing and networking

Library Computerization

We have planned to use software package which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. The software consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC. The database of books available in the Library will be updated on day to day basis with details of recently acquired books. The editing and updating activities are in progress.
